For the love of our teammates

At EQUO, horses are not just animals. They are our partners both in and out of the ring, our teammates in the sport.

Quoting our founder, Anna Dulin, in the September, 2017 issue of The Plaid Horse:

“From an early age, I realized that my only true place in this world was with horses. Perhaps my earliest memory was when I was five or six and cried because I had to miss a horse show to go to a birthday party,” explains Dulin. “By the time that I was in junior high, this passion had cemented itself. I was a rebel growing up, but in the barn, none of the pressures of adolescence mattered. There was no pressure to perform, only a love for my equine partner and a drive to teach the horse and push myself to improve step by step every day.”

Because we have a lifelong passion and respect for these amazing athletes – without whom our sport would not be possible – we recognize our obligation not only to the riders, but to our teammates.

The EQUO Fund was created as a way to protect and aid those teammates that find themselves in situations of neglect or need. A portion of each EQUO sale is directed to The EQUO Fund, where our resources are distributed to the organizations that provide aid to ensure that each and every teammate has the opportunity to live a long, healthy, safe and fulfilling life.
